Tried and Tasted on Tuesday's(3T's) : August 3rd 2010

As you all know for the past few months I have been posting tried and tasted recipes from fellow bloggers on every Tuesday. With the ingredients I have in hand , I try the various recipes from my fellow bloggers.I do not post their recipes here but provide a link to their recipes in my blog.It is my way of thanking all the fellow bloggers for their time and effort they put in posting these recipes.

It is Tuesday and I am back with 3 delicious recipes that I tried and tasted in my kitchen following the recipes posted by 3 wonderful bloggers in their blogs. All the three recipes were easy to make and delicious to taste. Here are the tried and tasted recipes without any delay-----------

The first time I visited her blog I was browsing through her beverage recipes(as it is summer time) and bookmarked this smoothie.I followed her recipe as is except that I used mango pulp instead of mango juice and did not add any sugar as the mango pulp had enough sweetness in it.This smoothie was very delicious.Thank you Priya for sharing such a delicious and nutritious smoothie with us.

2) Jalapenos Chutney from Womens Era 2008 by Charitha .

Previously I tried her Moong Daal Chutney and then I thought that I should try this Jalapeno Chutney too and hence I posted here after making it.I followed her recipe as is except that I did not add cilantro to the dish and also I used only 1.5tbsp of oil.As suggessted by her I used jaggery for sweetness and did not add any water while grinding..This chutney was spicy, tangy and sweet. This chutney is only for adults, not for kids.Thank you Charitha for sharing such a delicous chutney recipe with us.

3) Dahi Papad Ki Sabzi from Mharo Rajasthans Recipes by Priya Y Mitharwal .

This is totally a new recipe to me.The day she posted it in her blog I thought I should make it.Finally here it is.I followed her recipe as is except that I used Jeera Papad instead of spicy Lijjat papad and as my papad did not have hing in it I added a pinch of hing to the seasoning.I did not add any salt to the dish as the salt in the papad was enough to flavor the entire curry.Thank you Priya for sharing this delicious recipe with us.

Please do visit these bloggers for these recipes that I tried and for many more delicacies that they have posted in their blogs. Will be back with more tried and tasted recipes next Tuesday.

I am sending all the above 3 recipes to the new Bookmarked Recipes : Every Tuesday Event started by Priya Y Mitharwal.
